We are in uncontrolled airspace about 60 miles south southeast of Chicago. Airport identifier is C98 on your Chicago Sectional chart. Our runway is north-south, 18-36 and strong crosswinds are rare. You may land or take off on pavement or the parallel grass strip. Night lighting dawn to dusk. Watch out for deer. Monitor the frequency from 10 miles out CTAF 122.9. Field elevation is 644, pattern altitude 1644. Glider activity on weekends. Left hand traffic pattern.
